Zak was contracted to rebuild 257 feet of the Boulder/Larimer Irrigation Ditch. Located on the Little Thompson river, the project includes the construction of a 257’ long by 7.5’ tall precast concrete wall, structure backfill and embankment. Location: Berthoud, CO |
This project is the last phase of the City of Fort Collins’ improvements to North College Avenue north of downtown. Major aspects of the job include a small expansion to the road, installation of storm water drainage systems, sidewalks, and an aesthetic package including landscaping and public art displays. Zak Dirt will spend the coming winter installing the storm water lines and the summer of 2015 working on concrete and asphalt paving. Location: Fort Collins, CO |
Zak Dirt, Inc. will remove existing outlet works, install new outlet pipe, toe drain system, measuring weir, and gate tower. The existing dam will be raised to prevent flooding to adjacent private property. Zak will also construct a new spillway channel and walls. Location: Wellington, CO |
Zak Dirt will replace portions of the Arthurs ditch box culvert across Mountain Ave and Myrtle Street. The project will consist of the demolition of existing box, installation of new box, and the replacement of existing intersection. Location: Fort Collins, CO |
Replace the existing structure that was originally built in 1959. The new bridge will be wider to accommodate an additional turn lane from eastbound 84th Ave to northbound I-25. In addition there will be 10-foot wide sidewalks on each side of the bridge to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety. Location: Thornton, CO |
