  • McKay Lake Dam Renovation

    Replacement of the existing outlet works with a new 30” diameter welded steel pipe and gate. The reservoir capacity was enlarged by raising the dam crest approximately 2’. The existing spillway was deemed inadequate by the State Engineer and was rebuilt using 2,100 square yards of Armourflex Cellular Concrete Mats as erosion protection.

  • State Highway 7 Bridge across the Platte River

    Replacement of the existing bridge across the Platte River. The substructure of the new bridge consisted of drilled 54” caissons for pier support and steel H-pile driven for abutment support. Approximately 12,000 square feet of retaining wall was built to facilitate widening the south side of Highway 7.

  • Crow Lane Reservoir

    Construction of a new 50’ high dam. A portable concrete batch plant was set-up onsite to produce the approximately 4,000 cubic yards of 4500 psi concrete needed to construct the Labyrinth Spillway, as well as supplying dental concrete and concrete for the associated outlet works. A clay liner was installed on the upstream face to remediate any possible future leakage that may occur.
